Ronaldo's spentley £2m

Car-crazy Cristiano Ronaldo this week took delivery of a Bentley Continental GT Speed.

It cost £140,000—taking the total he has spent on motors since joining Man United five years ago above the £2 million mark.

In the last three months alone, the 23- year-old midfielder has blown £630,000 on cars—£340,000 on a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe and £150,000 on the registration plate CR7.

And in February he put his name on the two-year waiting list for a £875,000 Bugatti Veyron, the 235mph supercar he once raced in a Nike ad.

Ronaldo has owned some of the world’s most exclusive motors, including two Porsche Cayennes, a BMW M6, Bentley Continental GTC, Porsche 911, Ferrari F430 and a Merc bought for his then lover Nereida Gallardo...

His Bentley GTC — with a red leather interior to match his strip — is now on the market at £99,995 at a garage in Bolton, Lancs.

A United source said: “Fans expect stars to blow their wages on big cars and Ronaldo’s no exception.”

But the free-scoring Portugal player used to have more modest tastes. As a teenager at Sporting Lisbon, before his £12 million transfer to Old Trafford, he drove to training in a humble Seat Ibiza.....
